After Spending a night a Fives hotel, we proceeded to Desaru coast the next day.
Journey is about 1h 30min to 2 hours depending on road condition.
before that we just went to the mall and supermarket to stock up on some snacks and instant noodles since there are limited shops that sell snacks in Desaru.
The place was really nice and new with a nice sea view.
We booked a room facing the sea to get some rest and peace after not being able to travel for more than 1 year.
Damage: RM1.3k for 2 nights.

After checking in, we spent some time loitering around the resort area.
Also the west thing about this resort is the private beach right in front of the resort.

For dinner, we drove out to a nearby seafood restaurant.
Seafood here is quite cheap and fresh!
we visited one of the highly recommended seafood restaurant nearby. (Less than 10min drive)
Eat at Lotus Seafood Restaurant!

This restaurant is located in another resort, so you will have to park in the resort itself.
the parking is free though.
The restaurant is facing the sea as well, so you get to enjoy the nice view while also enjoying your seafood ~
We ordered 2 crabs of different flavor and also a soup? (i forgot), and drinks.
Total cost: RM 221 which is quite reasonable as it would cost alot more in SG.

Half a day at Adventure Waterpark in Desaru
After breakfast, we proceed to the Adventure Waterpark Desaru Coast. (about 5min drive from Westin)
The place was not crowded at all, probably because the covid restriction just eased..
Some facilities are closed as well.. but it would already have open today (in 2025), do check before going!
bought the ticket in advance from Klook.
Cost: RM188 for 2 pax.

Went back to the resort after that and spent the rest of the afternoon lazing around the area.

We just rest for the rest of the afternoon and also ordered room service for dinner as well.

Woke up early again for sunrise , it was better than the previous day’s sun rise~

We went to the Johor premium outlet for some shopping before heading back to SG~
